How does a modern day yogi stay balanced and relaxed before the holidays? Yea yea, a massage sounds like a wonderful idea, but that 2-hour personal attention may not be in the budget- especially after holiday shopping. Hmmm, a 2-hour yoga workshop however, well now that could be. ;)

Tension melts away, the busy monkey mind slows down, circulation and digestion improve, and creativity comes forth. This workshop is suitable for anyone, regardless of whether you practice Yoga or not. Please wear comfortable clothes that stretch.
Therapeutic Yoga for Back & Neck Care
Date: Sat, 12/21/2013
Time: 1:15pm – 3:00pm
If you're like most Americans, you have experienced frustrating pain in your back and neck due to stress, injuries, muscle-weakness, or strain caused by the repetitive stress of your daily work or home life. Perhaps you carry most of your tension in your jaw, shoulders, and upper back, or, maybe you spend most of your day in front of a computer and find your lower back and neck achy and exhausted after work.
Regardless of the cause, this class is appropriate for anyone with back and neck pain who wishes to have a gentle, lightly challenging yoga experience. The practice will guide you through poses to relax your tension, warm and strengthen weak areas in your core, and stretch tight muscles. If you're tired of feeling chronically achy, or if you unconsciously reach for a bottle of ibuprofen at the end of the day, why not try this gentle class to improve your well-being? No previous yoga experience required. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
